2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition | Temecula Valley, CA

Ready for the next generation of off-road capability? Take adventuring in Temecula Valley to new frontiers with the recently revealed 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition. Coming soon to Temecula Valley Buick GMC, this incredible truck brings together two powerhouses — GMC and American Expedition Vehicles — to impressive effect.

The first-ever Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition builds on the already amazing AT4X, which returns to the lineup for 2023. The 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4X is naturally off-road-capable due to features like front and rear e-locking differentials, Multimatic DSSV™ dampers, and a two-speed transfer case with selectable drive modes for the best traction. With just these features alone, not to mention a 2-inch suspension lift, the AT4X is an incredible specimen perfect for making your California dreams a reality.

The AEV Edition adds extra confidence for tough off-road conditions. Steel front and rear bumpers with recovery points and winch capability allow the Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV to adventure more confidently on treacherous terrain. Achieve maximum impact resistance with five hot-stamped boron steel skid plates that protect the underbody. 18-inch AEV Salta wheels with a recessed valve system guard from debris (and look good doing it), while 33-inch Goodyear® Wrangler Territory MT tires confidently climb Temecula Valley’s hill country.

But the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition isn’t just a tough off-roader. It’s a handsome truck through and through, which is just what you’d expect from a team-up between GMC and AEV. The exterior features gloss black door handles and an updated front grille and fascia. AEV branding is exclusive to the 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV, including on the bumper and all-weather floor liners.

The AEV Edition offers a premium interior with leather-wrapped power-massaging front seats and Vanta ash wood trim. The 12-speaker Bose® Premium Series audio system keeps road trips to a California national park entertaining, and seating for up to six people ensures that you can share the joy with your whole crew. You also get a class-leading 40 diagonal inches of digital displays to keep you in the loop on the go.

Great weather and incredible adventures are not the only occasions to look forward to this summer. GMC recently teased that their innovative AT4X trim will be available on the 2022 Canyon.

Last year, GMC adopted the off-road optimized AT4 trim to the Canyon lineup. Available to the trim is a suspension leveling kit, skid plates, and advanced hill descent control. Based on the AT4X trim that is already available on the 2022 Sierra 1500, the concept is expected to enhance and build off of the AT4’s off-road capabilities.

The new trim includes rocker protectors that shield against debris when off-roading in places like the Santa Ana Mountains. Also available will be 17-inch bead-lock capable wheels that keep you safe when traversing on uncertain terrain.

Along with the expected standard luxuries of the Canyon lineup, such as remote start and LED fog lamps, the AT4X also showcases exclusive badging. The Canyon AT4X is expected to release in the summer of 2022, just in time to upgrade your truck for the ultimate off-road experience.

You’ll enjoy traversing the hills and mountains of Anza-Borrego State Park or Palomar Mountain when this elite off-roading trim becomes available only at Temecula Valley Buick GMC in Temecula Valley, California.

GM Named One of World’s Most Ethical Companies for 2021

2021 GMC Yukon | Temecula, CA

General Motors doesn’t just make great vehicles like the all-new 2021 Buick Envision and GMC Sierra 1500. It makes a difference, working toward the vision of a future with zero congestion, zero crashes, and zero emissions. For its aspirations and its actions, GM has once again been named one of Ethisphere’s World’s Most Ethical Companies.

By earning a place among the 2021 World’s Most Ethical Companies, GM achieves the honor for the second consecutive year. Though this year’s awards represent 47 different industries, General Motors is the lone representative from the auto industry.

According to Ethisphere CEO Timothy Erblich, GM was one of this year’s honorees because it demonstrated leadership during the challenging past year. In an effort to combat COVID-19, GM manufactured millions of face masks and 30,000 ventilators. GM also took a leading role in the fight against iniquity, committing $10 million to organizations fighting against racial injustice.

“While addressing the tough challenges of 2020, we saw companies lead – above all other institutions – on earning the trust of stakeholders through resilience and a commitment to ethics and integrity,” said Erblich. “The World’s Most Ethical Companies honorees continue to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the highest values and positively impacting the communities they serve.”

Another key to GM being named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies is its commitment to battling climate change. In addition to pledging to be carbon neutral by 2040, GM is committing $27 billion worldwide to the development of electrified and autonomous vehicles.

You’ll see the fruits of this ethical innovation soon at Temecula Valley Buick GMC in the form of new vehicles like the GMC HUMMER EV and the latest version of Super Cruise™ hands-free technology. Visit our showroom in Temecula Valley, California, to see more of what’s new with Buick and GMC.

The GMC Sierra Pickup Gained Market Share in 2020

2020 GMC Sierra 1500 | Temecula, CA

Last year was an unprecedented time for automakers and Americans alike, but we’ve made it into 2021 stronger than ever. Despite the tough times experienced by its contemporaries, GMC entered the new year with a big win for its flagship pickup.

According to market data revealed by Steve Hill, the Vice President of General Motors, GMC’s iconic Sierra pickup truck was one of only two trucks that actually gained market share during 2020. Meanwhile, major competitors saw large drops in sales drop, even as General Motors’ strong performance allowed it to become the highest-selling pickup manufacturer in America.

During 2020, over 250,000 GMC Sierra trucks were sold. This represents an 8.91 percent growth in sales from 2019. Altogether, the GMC Sierra’s market share in the United States increased from 9 percent to 11 percent in 2020.

The GMC Sierra’s big market share gain during a time when most other trucks saw drastic decreases is a testament to its quality. Industry-leading features like the six-function MultiPro tailgate, a first-in-class Head-Up Display, and durable carbon-fiber bed help give the pickup an edge over its competition.

If you want to see for yourself why the GMC Sierra defied the odds and gained market share during 2020, visit Temecula Valley GMC for a test drive today.
