Fuel efficiency is an important aspect of vehicles, both for your wallet and for the environment. With improvements to design and technology, gasoline-powered and hybrid SUVs are delivering better fuel economy. The 2021 Buick Encore recently earned a spot on the U.S. News & World Report’s “20 Most Fuel-Efficient SUVs in 2021” list. The list is comprised of gasoline-powered and hybrid SUVs and based on the EPA’s fuel cost estimates calculated from owners who drive 15,000 miles annually.
As one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs on the road, the 2021 Buick Encore earns an EPA-estimated 25 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.* Its compact size and available all-wheel drive contribute to its small footprint and nimble handling and maneuverability.
On top of its impressive efficiency, the 2021 Encore also offers capable performance, with its 1.4-liter Turbo engine generating 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque. The 2021 Buick Encore features a stylish and roomy interior that can seat up to five people. Standard infotainment technology such as Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, satellite radio, Wi-Fi® hotspot, and an IntelliLink infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen make the 2021 Buick Encore a great family vehicle that keeps everyone connected, entertained, and informed on the road.

General Motors doesn’t just make great vehicles like the all-new 2021 Buick Envision and GMC Sierra 1500. It makes a difference, working toward the vision of a future with zero congestion, zero crashes, and zero emissions. For its aspirations and its actions, GM has once again been named one of Ethisphere’s World’s Most Ethical Companies.
By earning a place among the 2021 World’s Most Ethical Companies, GM achieves the honor for the second consecutive year. Though this year’s awards represent 47 different industries, General Motors is the lone representative from the auto industry.
According to Ethisphere CEO Timothy Erblich, GM was one of this year’s honorees because it demonstrated leadership during the challenging past year. In an effort to combat COVID-19, GM manufactured millions of face masks and 30,000 ventilators. GM also took a leading role in the fight against iniquity, committing $10 million to organizations fighting against racial injustice.
“While addressing the tough challenges of 2020, we saw companies lead – above all other institutions – on earning the trust of stakeholders through resilience and a commitment to ethics and integrity,” said Erblich. “The World’s Most Ethical Companies honorees continue to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the highest values and positively impacting the communities they serve.”
Another key to GM being named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies is its commitment to battling climate change. In addition to pledging to be carbon neutral by 2040, GM is committing $27 billion worldwide to the development of electrified and autonomous vehicles.
You’ll see the fruits of this ethical innovation soon at Temecula Valley Buick GMC in the form of new vehicles like the GMC HUMMER EV and the latest version of Super Cruise™ hands-free technology. Visit our showroom in Temecula Valley, California, to see more of what’s new with Buick and GMC.
When Buick introduced its first-ever Buick Encore GX model, fans of the traditional Buick Encore feared it might signal the funeral toll for their beloved SUV. Those fears were quickly abated, as Buick confirmed that the Encore would remain a part of its ever-growing SUV lineup.
During the final days of May, production of the 2020 Buick Encore model came to an end at the GM Bupyeong production plant. Thankfully, it didn’t take long for Buick to begin production on the 2021 Buick Encore, as it started early in June.
So, what can eager Encore fans expect from the 2021 Encore model? According to reports, the 2021 Buick Encore will only see a few minor changes for its latest iteration. The 2021 Encore is set to receive a few new exterior hues. More importantly, it will also add the Forward Collision Alert safety feature. One thing that won’t experience a major change is the price, as most sources agree that the Buick Encore will maintain its spot in the $23,000 price range.
Unfortunately, Buick has not announced when the new Buick Encore will officially hit the road, though some reports suggest the spring of next year. Whenever the 2021 Buick Encore does make its way to the Buick family of vehicles, you can rest assured that we will have some in stock here at Temecula Valley Buick GMC.
If you thought the upcoming redesign of the 2021 Buick Envision would only include updates to the beloved midsize SUV’s exterior and powertrain, you were sorely mistaken. The all-new 2021 Buick Envision is also expected to include a complete overhaul of the crossover’s already-luxurious interior.
In early July 2020, Car and Driver reported that a Chinese General Motors partner called SAIC released photos that appeared to depict the interior of the upcoming 2021 Envision. Like the Envision’s brand-new exterior, the SUV’s redesigned interior is sporty and sophisticated thanks to sweeping sightlines, bold textures, and Buick’s trademark penchant for luxury.
The most attention-grabbing feature of the all-new Envision is a massive 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The screen, which is slightly pointed towards the driver to replicate the ultimate sports car experience, is seamlessly integrated into the dash along with climate controls for a futuristic aesthetic.
The leaked interior photos depict two unique, high-contrast colorways. The first, a sumptuous symphony of deep chestnut and vibrant auburn leathers, is warm and inviting. The second color combination, which features a more traditional black and cream combo, is opulent and sophisticated with its lean lines and crisp quilted seats.

The Buick Envision is getting a full redesign for the 2021 model year, and it couldn’t look more different from the outgoing model.
Where the current Envision compact SUV is rounder, with a short nose and stockier proportions, the 2021 Envision is sleek, angular, and exudes style. The new version of this five-passenger compact SUV sits lower to the ground and has a wider stance, giving it a distinctly athletic appearance.
Buick hasn’t said much about the 2021 Envision besides the photos of its striking new design, but we do know that it will come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The automaker also revealed that the new Envision will offer an available advanced Head-Up Display, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and a standard Buick Driver Confidence package with a range of safety and driver assist technologies.
The 2020 Envision delivers a stunning interior with tons of technology, so the 2021 model will likely just build on it further. The crystal-clear touchscreen with multiple camera views, Buick QuietTuning® technology with Active Noise Cancellation, available wireless charging, and other comfort and convenience amenities will likely carry over to the 2021 Envision.
All of us here at Temecula Valley Buick GMC can’t wait to see what the redesigned Envision looks like on the inside, and get our hands on it for real when it launches early next year.
